About the Opportunity:
I’m hiring on behalf of a reputable and growing electrical contractor based in the San Francisco Bay Area. The company delivers a wide range of public and private sector infrastructure projects across the region — including street lighting, traffic signals, EV charging stations, pump & lift stations, and water treatment plants.
They’re looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their team and take on a mix of technical, field, and project management responsibilities. It’s a great role for someone who wants to work across a variety of essential infrastructure projects with long-term growth potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and support design, layout, and coordination of electrical systems for infrastructure projects
Prepare and review plans, submittals, RFIs, and as-built drawings
Assist with estimating, procurement, and material takeoffs
Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning
Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, field crews, and public agencies
Ensure work is completed in accordance with NEC and other applicable codes
Qualifications:
Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
3+ years of experience in industrial or construction-related electrical engineering
Strong understanding of public works standards and electrical codes
Comfortable working both in the field and in the office
Experience with pump stations, water/wastewater treatment plants, or EV infrastructure is a plus
