About This Role
Join a growing heavy civil contractor delivering major infrastructure projects across the San Francisco Bay Area. This established firm specializes in complex earthwork, utility installations, and site development for both public and private sector clients.
What You’ll Do
- →Prepare quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for heavy civil, earthwork, utility, and site development projects
- →Review plans, specifications, and bid documents to identify scope, risks, and pricing requirements
- →Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to support competitive bid submissions
- →Build and maintain estimate worksheets, budgets, and bid packages for Bay Area public and private projects
- →Coordinate with project managers, field teams, and clients to validate assumptions, production rates, and constructability considerations.
Requirements
- ✓2+ years of experience in heavy civil construction or related infrastructure projects
- ✓Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or related field
- ✓Strong understanding of earthwork, utilities, and site development processes
- ✓Proficiency with estimating software and construction documentation systems
- ✓Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites throughout the Bay Area
