What You’ll Do
- →Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil engineering projects using Trimble and TopCon software
- →Conduct quantity surveying and material takeoffs from project plans and specifications
- →Analyze subcontractor proposals and negotiate pricing for optimal project margins
- →Collaborate with project managers and engineers to refine scope and pricing assumptions
- →Present estimates to senior leadership and support proposal development efforts
Requirements
- ✓2+ years of estimating experience in civil engineering or construction
- ✓Proficiency with Trimble estimating software and TopCon surveying tools
- ✓Strong background in quantity surveying and material takeoff processes
- ✓Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
- ✓Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail in cost calculations
